A highly visabel opportuniyt has arisen for a Finance Business Partner who will work in the Finance team and support the Head of Finance. The role will be varied and involves generating financial information for the month end, preparing month end reporting for the FD and Division in addition to supporting decision making and adding greater insight into the business as well as ensuring financial control is maintained.

You will be involved in the monthly reporting cycle as well as annual business planning, financial control including AP and AR processes and ad-hoc analysis, projects and process improvements. The person needs to be a part/newly qualified accountant with technical experience, excellent analysis skills and an ability to understand the underlying issues. Similarly this person needs to be confident dealing with all stakeholders including senior management, non-finance colleagues, a great communicator and be able to prioritise effectively and use their initiative


* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with the operational teams to understand cost drivers and work together to control and influence financial performance
* Be a 'champion' for cost control and drive cost saving initiatives across the business
* Detailed financial analysis and presentation of results and other financial information to support decision making and the wider team
* Monthly balance sheet review and challenge of balances and movements
* Analysis and presentation operational and financial information to fulfil senior management and divisional requests
* Manage systems/processes and ensure adequate controls are in place
* Continually develop processes and improvements across the team
* Support of monthly reporting to assist in month end preparation and post month end analysis
* Support the external audit and group tax queries


* ACCA, ACA, CIMA part /newly qualified
* Advanced Excel skills
* Experience of working in a fast paced environment and ability to prioritise a changing workload and use initiative
* Good communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information
* SAP experience beneficial but not essential
