Job Role: Leasehold Officer
Contract Term: Full Time, Temporary (12 weeks)
Pay rate: GBP14.00 per hour (PAYE) to GBP18.00 per hour (Limited Company Basis)
Location: South Oxfordshire

Greenacre Recruitment is working in partnership with an award winning and customer focused housing provider to source a Leasehold Officer to join their team. You will help to provide a high quality property management and advice service to shared owners and leaseholders.

The responsibilities of the Leasehold Officer are to:

• Provide leasehold and shared ownership advice and support to tenants, responding to queries and issues in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
• Undertake estate and property inspections and visit residents as necessary.
• Assist with shared ownership resales and stair casing.
• Ensure appropriate action is taken in relation to any breach of a lease.
• Investigate allegations of ASB and liaise with housing management on appropriate action.
• Assist with leasehold and shared ownership debt recovery.
• Assist with Right to Buy and small land sales.
• Attend meetings of resident groups, promoting and facilitating their development.
• Ensure accurate records are maintained of all actions and contacts as appropriate.

To be successful in your application for the role, you will have:

• Previous experience in property management or housing management.
• Good understanding of shared ownership and right to buy processes.
• Working knowledge of relevant legislation and anti-social behaviour management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and work on own initiative.
• Ability to deal with, and effectively resolve, conflict and difficult situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Full driving licence.
• Willingness to work flexible hours on occasional basis i.e. to attend meetings outside normal working hours.
