SLW Training & Consultancy Ltd are supporting Clifton High School in the recruitment of a new School Finance Manager.

Clifton High School is an academically selective, co-educational, independent day school for over 570 pupils aged 3-18 years. Situated on a
beautiful Bristol site, we operate the Diamond Edge Model of education underpinned by a strong pastoral and family ethos.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced financial professional, committed to working in an educational setting, to be responsible and accountable for sound financial management of the School as a Charity and the Line Management of the staff in the Finance Department.

Reporting to the Director of Operations you will be responsible for the detailed accounting process for the School and its Foundation. You will be involved in the exciting Development Plans for this forward-thinking School working with the Head of School and the Chair of the Council of Governors.

We would like to hear from fully qualified Accountants with at least three years' experience, ideally in a service industry, who are looking for this next step in their career. The successful candidate must be dynamic, outgoing and innovative and would enjoy contributing to an excellent working environment for pupils, staff, parents and the wider school community.

Further details can be found on the school website or via contacting SLW. Upon application you will be sent a formal application form which should be completed and be accompanied by a covering letter of application addressed to the Head of School, Dr Alison Neill and returned to SLW, who will submit them to Clifton High School.

Closing date for applications: by midday on Thursday 9th March 2017
Interviews will be w/c 20th March 2017

Clifton High School is committed to child protection and safeguarding children and young people and expects all staff, visitors and volunteers to share this commitment
