Innovation and continuous improvement are in our blood at TTS - and our Business Improvement team play a key role in providing the information, systems and processes needed to drive the company forwards. You'll use your unique skill-set to identify requirements, detect problems and help to deliver improvements to a wide range of stakeholders across the business.

Job purpose:

Ensure the business has the high-quality management information needed to make decisions by analysing economic and other data/statistics via Tableau. Support project delivery through simplification and analytical problem-solving alongside BAU tasks such as catalogue performance reporting, product pricing and KPI analysis. Responsibilities include:

* Contribute to complex business and technology change projects, delivering in-depth analysis across information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organisational change;
* Capture and deliver reporting requirements for all business areas to agreed timescales and quality standards, identifying trends and comparing with appropriate benchmark data as required;
* Contribute to the good use of data and information available to TTS including:

* Providing rapid analysis of data for reports and presentations;
* Promote the use of sophisticated data analysis techniques, and
* Monitoring and reporting on data quality

* Review reports and identify areas for improvement to ensure that our business intelligence remains current and supports business growth;
* Report any data quality issues and provide options for resolution.

What we're looking for

* Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a related subject e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar discipline
* Highly IT literate. Candidates with experience of Tableau and Cognos will have a distinct advantage; Qlikview experience would also be of interest.
* At least 3 years' experience of applying a wide range of data analysis techniques and modelling tools
* Demonstrable ability to rapidly make sense of complex data
* Able to clearly and simply communicate your insights to a diverse set of stakeholders
* Able to work confidently with colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver analytical projects on time and on budget in a fast-paced environment.
