Our client is a provider of further and higher education in Wiltshire and is fast on its way to becoming outstanding having achieved a good Ofsted grade in June 2015.

They are now looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead, manage and develop the Team to deliver outstanding financial services to Budget Holders, Managers and their Teams. Working in partnership with the Management Reporting Manager, you will ensure that the ledgers accurately reflect the College's forecast I&E, cash flow forecasts and balance sheet (including Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, General Ledger and Bank Loans). You will also recommend system improvements, as well as external and internal audit recommendations are implemented promptly to ensure quality and value for money at all times.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified AAT or part-qualified ICAEW / CIMA / ACCA, as well as hold or be willing to work towards a Degree level qualification relevant to the role. Proven experience of leading managing and developing Teams by working collaboratively and in partnership with the Finance Team and Non-Financial Managers is essential, as is working with internal and external auditors, HRMC, bankers and professional advisers. They are looking for excellent financial management skills, with solid IT literacy and communication skills.
