We are currently recruiting for a a Senior Payroll and HR Officer for our global logistics company based in Enfield.

They are looking for someone who is fully competent on payroll processes from start to finish and someone who is competent with HMRC procedures.

The ideal candidate will have the responsibility of offering a first class service to employees on all HR, payroll, welfare and legal issues. The role covers the entire HR spectrum and will also involve hands on payroll.

The Role:


* Assist with the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll, liaising with line management to ensure accuracy of data
* Reconcile the monthly payroll information
* Adhere to payroll control processes ensuring all errors are investigated
* Tax year end - P11D's / P60's
* Ad hoc tasks as required by management


* Support all aspects of recruitment and selection including writing job specifications
* Obtain references for potential team members and ensure the appropriate immigration checks are carried out
* Generate offer letters, contracts of employment and new starter packs
* Participate in the induction and orientation of team members


* Accurately maintain employee files & all records
* Support the management of, provide advice on and process special leave for example maternity, paternity, adoption leave, according to company policy
* Produce regular and ad hoc reports as required
* Provide advice on and process special leave entitlements

The Person:

* You must be CIPP qualified or equivalent (or in the process)
* You must have a minimum of 24 month previous HR and payroll experience
* Great numerical and analytical ability is essential
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are essential
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* A real interest in keeping up to date with latest HR, payroll and pension legislation
