A 'Good' Primary school in Wigan, Lancashire is looking to appoint an experienced and hardworking Year 1 Teacher for a position starting in April 2017.

School And Teacher Information:

You will be working as a full time teacher within the school, completing all aspects of the teaching role including planning, preparing and delivering lessons as well as marking work and being involved in school activities. The school are looking for a Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a clear understanding of the core subjects which will allow them to correctly assess student's progression.

With this being a Year 1 class, the school are looking for a teacher with experience teaching phonics and able to effectively complete the phonics screening towards the end of the academic year. The school is in a diverse area and is praised for their inclusive settings.

This particular school is looking for a teacher that is able to set firm but fair boundaries with their class and ensure that behaviour management is pride of place in the learning environment. All the staff at the school feel fully supported in their position and also benefited from the continuing professional development in the school.
