Regulatory Reporting Manager
Our client is a financial services organisation based in Edinburgh city. The regulatory reporting manager will assist the senior manager in delivery of external reporting to external bodies. The role will also involve the preparation of Pillar 3 documents and implementation of regulatory changes, input to the capital management process and reporting internally to senior management through the provision of monthly/ad hoc information and commercial advice and analysis. This is a 6 month fixed term contract. Key accountabilities: *Responsible for the preparation of regulatory returns to the regulators ensuring timescales and data accuracy requirements met *Preparation of Pillar 3 disclosures and information requirements and organisation of timetable and governance process *Using knowledge and experience to promptly identify potential problems within returns as they are prepared and ensure escalation and resolution where appropriate *Completion of monthly capital information for presentation to internal senior management and executive committees and input in statutory accounting capital requirements *Assist Regulatory Reporting senior manager delivering small scale projects or well defined tasks on larger projects to improve support to the business *Ensuring strong controls environment in place including the Target Operating Framework and Group Minimum Standards *Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other finance and risk units *Keep abreast of relevant regulatory developments and assist in implementation of all required changes *Line management responsibility About you: *Qualified accountant. CA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent *Financial services experience *Confident and enthusiastic with the ability to influence immediate senior management *Strong communication and presentation skills, confident in dealing with colleagues across the Group *Organised, able to prioritise workload and to deliver to tight deadlines *Ability to contribute to the implementation of change *Strong analytical analysis skills and attention to detail *External reporting experience or equivalent *Knowledge of regulatory reporting *Ability to analyse technical issues *Ability to develop a good understanding of finance systems and processes *Ability to understand and communicate technical reporting regulations to colleagues.
