This is an exciting opportunity which will provide the successful candidate with full business exposure and the opportunity to progress within the Audit function. Role Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, execution and reportingof audits and performing tasks autonomously Responsible for senior leader and stakeholder management across the group and supporting the wider Internal Audit team in delivering the strategic objectives and plans. Providing a professional audit service to stakeholders by assessing risk and evaluating control processes, identifying issues and developing solutions in partnership with the business. Produce reports which clearly articulate the risks and control opportunities and which help the business build a better control environment. Deliver continuous improvement of risks within the business whilst developing ongoing relationships with management ensuring that issues are escalated as appropriate and resolved and through ad hoc support. Contribute to reliable audit reports to a variety of forums Be able to mentor junior members of staff within the business area Experience Required: Audit Experience within a Financial Services environment Professional audit and accountancy qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA) Strong evidence of stakeholder management within a commercial environment Ability to apply risk & control in the broadest business context.
