Excellent opportunity for a recently / Newly-Qualified Audit professional who is keen to be a part of a progressive and growing 'Big 4' national Financial Services practice with a wide ranging and diverse client base including investment trusts, associated funds, life and general insurance companies and investment managers. You will be expected to lead the delivery of audit and assurance engagements from pre-planning through to completion and you will be proficient in both IFRS and UK GAAP with experience of FCA CASS rules preferable. At this stage in your career you will have strong supervisory skills with the ability to develop and coach junior members of team along with effective and efficient project management. This role may be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh with a degree of travel expected in between. Whilst previous financial services audit experience is preferable it is not essential and candidates with the relevant experience at Manager level will also be considered for a position with relevant seniority. This is an ideal role offering realistic scope for upwards mobility with real potential to look at both internal corporate finance secondments and external client secondments and the opportunity to work closely alongside the corporate audit team. The firm is not restrictive in looking at candidates with previous Big 4 / Top 10 exposure and would welcome applications from strong individuals with the relevant experience. Essential Requirements: Professionally qualified with a recognized accountancy body such as ICAS, ACCA, ACA or CPA. Significant UK based audit experience essential.
