Our client in East Lancashire, a small but growing residential child care provider, require 2 qualified and experienced Senior Residential Child Care Workers/Team Leaders and a Deputy Manager to join their team in the Bacup area.

To apply for the position of Team Leader/Senior Residential Child Care Worker, you will have extensive experience of working within a residential children's home setting, supporting young people aged 8-18 presenting with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.

As Team Leader/Senior Residential Child Care Worker you will be familiar with planning shifts and leading a small team, as well as the compilation and completion of much paperwork; care plans, behaviour management plans, risk assessments etc. Experience of supervising staff would be desirable but is not essential.

It is essential if you wish to apply for the position of Team Leader/Senior Residential Child Care Worker that you hold an NVQL3 Residential Child Care qualification or equivalent.

The role of Team Leader/ Senior Residential Child Care Worker will include shifts across 7 days; early shifts, lates, long days and sleep in duties. You must be willing to work on a rolling rota basis and able to work split shifts.

To apply for the position of Deputy Manager, you will have experience of supporting a Registered Manager in the running of an Ofsted registered children's home as well as supporting young people aged 8-18 presenting with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.

As Deputy Manager you will be responsible for the rotas, supervision of staff, regulation 45s and much paperwork pertaining to Ofsted and related legislation.

Driving Licence essential. Clear Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service would be advantageous as would the ability for an immediate start but all notice periods considered
