Are you an Outsourcing Assistant or Accounts Semi Senior with experience working in the Business Services or Outsourcing department of a good quality practice firm? Or do currently work for a smaller practice firm in an accounts based role and are looking to gain more experience in preparing management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns? Are you also looking to upgrade to a very large, international Top 10 firm? If so, this rapidly growing accountancy practice firm in a prime location in the City, is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive recent growth. Your role will be varied, and will include the preparation of management for clients, processing information using sageline 50, journal entries, maintaining cash books and nominal, sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations, analysis, report writing, bookkeeping duties and Vat returns. You could get exposure to statutory accounts work from time to time. Some of your time will be spent at client premises although most will be spent in the office. Your client base will be varied and include an impressive array of large listed and international businesses, as well as rapidly growing SME clients. Client industries will include retail, financial services, media & entertainment, professional services, technology and property. To be considered for this new role you will currently be a part qualified ACCA or in the final stages of the AAT. You must also have at least 18 months experience in an accountancy practice firm and your current role must include the above duties, including the preparation of management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns. You will now be looking to upgrade to a busy and rapidly growing Business Services & Outsourcing department of a Top 10 firm, and continue to learn new skills and work with impressive clients to improve your technical knowledge. This role is perfect for someone looking to improve their management accounts, Vat and Bookkeeping skills. You must have experience of a wide range of software packages including Sageline 50 and it would be beneficial if you had experience of cloud based software such as Xero and Quickbooks online.
