Due to the increasing growth of the business, our client is seekig to recruit an ACCA/ACA qualified Financial Controller to oversee, manage and control all the group's finances and assist with other areas of the business. This is a role that will report to the Managing Director and work closely with him to bring structure and clear financials for the business to continue its future development. You will be responsible for a finance/admin team of three. All payroll, book-keeping, and accounting functions are managed in-house. Duties will include and not limited to: Overseeing the purchase and sales ledgers, sales invoices, contract payments, credit control, bank payments and reconciliations, cash books on Sage and other financials of the junior staff Producing a monthly Board pack and presenting this to the owners and key stakeholders Budgeting and forecasting Trial balances and VAT returns Cash flow forecasting and control and oversee the production of work in progress Profitability work Financial due diligence Company tax matters Year end accounts Assist the team by training, mentoring and developing Communicating with and maintaining relationships with the Group's bankers, and other external contacts Administer group insurances and pension schemes (auto enrol) Oversee monthly payroll General office management such as HR records, staff holidays, sickness, company policy procedures and handbooks, maintenance, supplier etc Ad hoc duties & project work Requirements/Qualifications: ACA or ACCA Qualified (or equivalent) Management skills Excellent communication skills Extensive experience of Sage line 50 Experience with CIS would be an advantage
