Divisional Management Accountant
The Permanent Division of Robert Half Finance & Accounting are working exclusively with a UK based FMCG organisation based in Northampton with the recruitment of a Divisional Management Accountant.
The role of Divisional Management Accountant will include:
Full production of month end management accounts
Production of month end analysis including full commentary on findings based around costs, margins, overheads, sales and KPI's
Management of multiple cost centres across the business ensuring that key stakeholders are effectively informed of financial decisions
Working parallel with Cost Centre Managers to produce budgets and forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Assisting with medium - long term business plans alongside senior finance and business executives
Managing projects when required including system and process changes
Identifying weakness's within current process's and providing solutions when possible
Due to the demands of the role, the Divisional Management Accountant must be actively studying towards a professional qualification, capable of working in an ever changing environment, keen to challenge themselves and progress their career within the next eighteen months. The Divisional Management Accountant must also:
Have previously worked within a role which involves managing non-financial stakeholders
Possess a strong level of commercial acumen
Be progressive and driven in person
Have strong communication skills in verbal, written and presentation methods
Be IT literate with strong Excel skills
Based in Northampton, the FMCG organisation are well-respected, steeped in history and still growing.
Salary & Benefits
The Divisional Management Accountant will receive a salary of up to GBP39,000 per annum along with a comprehensive study package (CIMA or ACCA) and a strong benefits package which includes an annual bonus, pension and 25 days holiday plus the bank holidays.
