If so then read on.My client is a recognised global brand and is currently recruiting for a qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA International Programme Finance Manager to join their very successful team reporting into the International Head of Finance on a permanent basis.The ideal candidate will either have worked for a similar international development charity previously or even for a commercial organisation with international links and will involve:The post holder is managed by the Head of International Finance and is responsible for supporting the International Directorate in the financial management of overseas offices, international programmes and restricted funds and managing the budgeting and forecasting processes for the International Directorate. To be the financial lead on strategic projects and where appropriate overall project lead.To attend programme boards and management meetings to input on financial and business issues, present findings and make recommendations for action.To be responsible for financial management support and advice to programmes and Partner National SocietiesTo develop, manage and facilitate the International Directorate's grant management and overseas payment processesTo manage the financial processing relating to overseas offices, ensuring consistency of controls and processes across all offices and giving guidance on systemsTo ensure that all necessary financial processes are in place to support emergency appealsTo identify any risks associated with those financial processes, to propose controls or actions to mitigate such risks, and to monitor such controls To keep the Overseas Offices Handbook template and International Directorate Finance Guidance up-to-dateTo ensure that financial data is aligned to non-financial data to enable effective programme reporting and to input into the development of financial KPIs for the International DirectorateTo be the principal finance contact and champion for the development of the International Directorate's Project Management System.To develop, manage and facilitate the International Directorate's financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.To analyse, interpret and report on the International Directorate's consolidated budgets and forecasts.To ensure that the planning and budget process is completed within the agreed organisational time table and in accordance with proceduresTo ensure alternative approaches and solutions to achieving budget targets are analysed, where appropriate, and effectively assessed with responsible managersTo identify risks that may impact on the budget outcome and to mitigate such risksTo ensure that managers have a good understanding of the financial performance of their team, contracts and project.To develop, manage and facilitate the financial risk assessment of our Partner National Societies ensuring that key financial risks are identified and clear recommendations given.To ensure that financial risk assessments are carried out on all new or growing programmes ensuring that key financial risks are identified & clear recommendations given.To ensure a risk register for all programmes is developed, reviewed and updatedTo ensure that the financial elements of International Directorate restricted fund applications are prepared, reviewed and supportedTo ensure that audits on International Directorate restricted fund projects are arranged and carried out in line with the donor's requirementsTo ensure that all necessary financial support is given to all International Directorate restricted fund projects during the close out phaseShould you feel passionate about getting involved in this passionate organisation where you can honestly make a difference and you meet the above mentioned criteria then please apply now.
