Head of Labour Group Office
We are a politically-led organisation and are looking for a senior professional adviser to head up our Labour Group Office. You will work in a high-pressure environment, advising and supporting the Labour group leader, planning and overseeing the delivery of support to councillors and managing the office. You will also sit on the LGA's Corporate Leadership Team.
Based in the LGA's offices in central London, you will have demonstrable experience of working in a political environment, managing a team of staff and providing support services, and an understanding of public policy work and parliamentary procedures. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and a very high degree of political sensitivity.
You must be a current member of the Labour Party.
