My client, a leading Global Events and Exhibitions organisation, are host to a number of exhibitions taking place across the world including: Belgium, China, Dubai, Singapore & the UAE. With a unique vision and complimentary values, my client combines multi-format venues business and multi-format events to create unrivalled events for their visitors!

Due to continued growth of the business and the number of events within their portfolios, my client is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Delegate Sales/ Conference Sales Executive to join their dynamic and exciting team! To be considered for this role, you must have experience of selling over the phone, ideally delegate sales.

Purpose of the role
The Delegate Sales/ Conference Sales Executive will be responsible for selling delegate packages to both existing and new leads, therefore increasing business on a series of events taking place globally.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required:

- At least 2 years` successful outbound B2B telesales experience; experience of delegate sales is preferable
- Determination, tenacity, resilience and assertiveness
- High standards of communication
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good track record of sales success
- Ability to hit deadlines and work under pressure
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages

Responsibilities will also include:

- Achieving desired targets (calls, interactions) to increase sales
- Upselling delegate packages
- Building sustainable relationships with delegates to improve market knowledge and retention ratio
- Working with marketing to create critical sales path and desired promotional activity
- Selling by phone and face to face to current and new business customers, selling delegates spaces
- Writing and sending effective sales proposals
- Contributing towards the creation of profitable new event features
- Maintain effective internal relationships with the project team
- Keep abreast of market developments and identify new growth areas
