R2R Finance Analyst - Process CoE - Uxbridge - GBP306 - GBP244 per day

Job Purpose

This role is to be performed in one of the following Centres of Expertise, and will rotate depending on opportunities:

- Process CoE FIM - Fixed Asset/ IPT/ Master Data

- Process CoE ICON - Intercompany and Inventory

- Process CoE BBP - Business Banking and Payroll

The landing department for this role will be the PCoE BBP team.

Key Accountabilities

General responsibilities:

* Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for your areas of responsibilities
* Produce routine reports, schedules, and summaries
* Meet performance targets related to R2R (record to report)
* Prepare outside auditor schedules to support annual audit and special audit requirements
* Understand and apply relevant process controls for running finance operations
* Support period end financial closing activities

Customer and Stakeholder relationship responsibilities:

* Serve as an initial point of contact for market customer queries and build a good personal relationship
* Take responsibility to resolve issues to follow through on actions to ensure good customer experience. Own the outcome
* Escalate as necessary any customer issues related to queries to the Senior Financial Accountants/ Team Lead
* Work closely with the outsource provider to ensure activities carried out are correct and assist in resolving queries

Continuous improvement:

* Building up solid process knowledge in your Centre of Expertise, ensuring end to end responsibility for processes in scope
* Proactively contributing towards service or process improvement initiatives by the Team leader or Subject Matter Expert, highlight areas of improvement

Process CoE Fixed Asset/ IPT/ Master Data:

* Maintain master data
* Review and support maintenance and reconciliation of fixed asset register performed by third party provider Genpact, including fixed asset additions, amendments and disposals, as well as review the booking of depreciation ad impairments
* Process and resolve differences and exception that arise from transactional processes

Process CoE Intercompany and Inventory

* Process & reconcile intercompany transactions ensuring no mismatches at month end
* Document Intercompany transactions and underlying agreements

Process CoE Business Banking and Payroll

* Perform other duties as assigned or requested . Perform treasury functions & monitor cash flow forecasts
* Keep risk in focus and strictly follow Controls and Compliance requirements

Required Experience / Skills

* Business fluent in English
* Previous experience as a Finance Analyst or equivalent
* Experienced in preparing month-end accruals and reconciliations
* Advanced understanding of Treasury activities such as manual payment requests
* Thorough knowledge of SOX controls and experienced in dealing with internal and external auditors
* Minimum of 3-years experience in a Finance role
* Must display a customer service focused attitude
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Self motivated and displays initiative in solving problems
* Ability to plan and manage workload to ensure all key deadlines are met
* Actively seeks to improve processes by making them more effective and efficient
* Proven ability to work as a member of multi-functional and multi-cultural teams

Preferred Experience / Skills

* Studying towards an Accountancy qualification ACCA/CIMA/ACA or similar
* Understanding of local market GAAP
