Salary: GBP24,075 - GBP25,692 per annum plus benefits.

About the College

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the major providers of education and training in Yorkshire and Humberside. We are one of the largest providers of A Level and vocational programmes for 16 to 19 year olds in the region. We also deliver a range of Traineeships and Apprenticeships and work with over 1,000 employers, helping them to recruit apprentices and provide bespoke training for their employees. We also offer a range of Higher Education courses for full and part-time study as well as many Adult Learning opportunities.

About the Role

The Senior Marketing Officer is a key role within the Marketing team and will develop and implement effective marketing and recruitment plans to ensure the achievement of recruitment and funding targets. The successful candidate should have extensive marketing experience, including the delivery of marketing campaigns, production of marketing publications, experience with content management systems and have the necessary skills to liaise with external companies and agencies. It is also essential that the successful candidate has the ability to communicate at all levels and has line management experience.

Also must be competent in Microsoft Office packages and have a good customer care ethos. Ideally hold a CIM qualification or be willing to work towards.

Where appropriate, the post-holder will be given the opportunity to undertake relevant professional and vocational training (e.g. as an apprenticeship) as required to meet the demands of the role.

The role is 37 hours per week. However, must be flexible as support will be required outside of normal office hours, at various events including open evenings, careers fairs, and celebration events (time off in lieu will be granted).
