Are you a training specialist with regulatory experience? Here at The Nottingham we have a new opportunity for a Compliance Training Specialist to join the risk and compliance team. Reporting to the Compliance Management Programme Manager, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a rolling programme of role specific and broader regulatory compliance training.

The key responsibilities of this role include -

* Design and implement a rolling programme of regulatory compliance training

Working in conjunction with the Learning and Development team, and the Compliance Advisory Manager, design, agree and deliver a programme of both general and role specific compliance training covering all areas of The Nottingham, , including, but not limited to: Anti Money laundering, Conduct, Data Protection, Compliance Management,

* Track and follow up on outstanding training

Ensuring compliance training is completed in a timely manner and communication of non-completion through the reporting line.

* Assessment of current training

Ongoing assessment of the changes to existing training required as a result of business or regulatory change and implement new training as required.

* Design, production and analysis of M.I.

Agreeing and producing a set of compliance training specific M.I. that enables The Nottingham to demonstrate its compliance with SYSC requirements.

* Support senior management with SMR

Provide support to senior management and the group secretariat to enable them to address their responsibilities under the Senior Managers Regime, including provision of training and support with evidencing 'reasonable steps'

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate -

* An in-depth understanding of the regulatory framework within which the Nottingham operates, with good technical knowledge of the current appropriate Legislation, Regulation and operational environments to ensure training given underpins the Nottingham's compliance with its statutory and regulatory obligations.
* An in-depth understanding of the business processes across The Nottingham to ensure that all areas of conduct risk can be identified and appropriately addressed.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills both verbally and in writing in a professional and effective manner
* Background in Training and Competence in a regulated environment
* Training design and delivery experience
* Good technical knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation, with the ability to take a broader view and suggest pragmatic solutions to ensure compliance.
* Ability to understand conceptual and process/procedural problems and provide advice and guidance on solutions
* Professional, flexible in approach and highly self-motivated, with the ability to work with and influence people at all levels, capable of negotiating effectively and be discreet within their role
