Lead Internal Auditor - Milton Keynes
Robert Half are hiring for a Lead Internal Auditor for an infrastructure company based in central Milton Keynes. This is a full-time permanent position.
The Lead Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting UK-wide assurance activities - These will be predominantly operational audits but will also include some financial audits.
On top of the assurance the Lead Auditor will need to provide advice to the business and internal stakeholders on how processes and controls can be improved and how in general risk can be managed more effectively.
Lead the Audit Team and execute the audit programme following the objectives set by and under the supervision of the Audit Manager
Deliver audits according to the scope and time estimate in the agreed Terms of Reference (ToR).
Prepare the draft ToR, the Audit Programme and the Audit Report.
Review the audit work carried out by the Audit Team to confirm that Auditors properly conclude on the work performed.
Coach and train Audit Team
Maintain constructive working relationships with Auditee.
The company are looking to hire someone with significant operational audit experience gained in industry.
The successful applicant will also be a strong communicator and relationship-builder, and capable of identifying non-obvious risks and suggesting potential solutions to mitigate them.

Salary & Benefits
Salary is in the region of GBP50,000 to GBP56,000 plus bonus up to 20%, private healthcare, pension and 28 days holiday.
