An expanding company who offer retained and consultancy HR services across multiple sectors, predominately in the UK is seeking a new member of their client services team. We exist to help protect and strengthen SME`s and their people capability.

As the HR Consultant, your duties will be to:

- Identify, define, develop and implement the most accurate and commercially suitable employment advice with clients.
- To proactively be involved in the clients business to determine improvements that will future proof and protect the business from a HR and development perspective.
- Research, design, delivery, monitor and evaluate the legal framework, case law and trends in order to stay ahead of the competition.
- Lead ad hoc projects including restructuring and change management on behalf of clients, in collaboration with the team.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with clients, maintaining frequent and direct contact with key stakeholders.
- Manage the provision of professional telephone, online and on-site support to clients.
- Ensure that all documentation is prepared and is accurate in regards to spelling and grammar.
- Build product knowledge to ensure you are able to explain, to a potential new client, the benefits of working with this company.
- Support efforts in building the overall client relationship in existing accounts including relevant pre-sales activities, understanding requirements and managing the customer experience through to a won sale across all services or products.

To be a successful HR Consultant you will have the following skills and experience:

- Experience in a outsourcing or service led HR environment is advantageous.
- A well-developed knowledge of UK Employment Law and the practical application of it.
- Strong experience of HR issues, from basic to complex matters, including performance, absence, disciplinary, grievances, redundancies, dismissals, and some change management.
- Excellent relationship and communication skills.
- A well-developed understanding of a service-led environment that supports multiple sectors and cultures.
- Be CIPD qualified or QBE; Qualified by Experience, to Business Partner level.
- Be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. IRIS is advantageous.
- Be technology focused and able to adapt to multiple or new systems (in-house at client-sites).
- Able to travel according to the needs of the clients and business.

In return, the HR Consultant will receive a salary of up to GBP45k plus benefits and invited to join the PRP; Profit Related Pay programme in place.
