We are working on behalf of a client Primary School situated in Birmingham. My client is looking for an inspirational, dynamic and creative Year 1 Teacher to join their vibrant and happy school. This is a full time, permanent position to start in September.

The school are an over-subscribed and successful 2 form entry Primary School, with a strong commitment to raising levels of attainment through a creative approach to the curriculum. In your role as the successful Year 1 Teacher you will take full responsibility for the class. Your class will consist of 28 pupils of mixed ability. As the successful Year 1 Teacher you will be reporting, and working closely with the Key Stage 1 Phase Leader, who will be supporting you in every aspect of your role. As a Year 1 Teacher you will already have experience of working in Key Stage 1 prior to this, and be expected to raise attainment levels within the year group.

My client has a recent Ofsted grading of 'Good' (2014), which has been their overall grade for the last 3 inspections. Before the current Headteacher came to the school, it was being deemed as 'Satisfactory' by Ofsted. Due to the dedication, hard work and support of the excellent Headteacher and SLT the school have gone from 'Satisfactory' to 'Good'. Therefore you will need to be an outstanding Year 1 Teacher to mirror the achievements of the school.

In short this is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified Year 1 Teacher to join a settled and effective Primary
