Deputy Education Manager / SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) / Full time (37 hours pw)

We have a great opportunity at HMP Haverigg to join the education team as a Deputy Education Manager / SENCO. The purpose of this role is to effectively plan and manage the deployment of staff and resources to deliver a high quality learning experience and to ensure that the special educational needs of learners are identified, assessed and met. To do this successfully you`ll need to:
-Implement staff in line with high quality delivery and maintenance of an effective team.
-Accurate and timely reporting of all funding and compliance activity.
-Recruit, develop and retain a highly skilled delivery team to meet business requirements.
-Develop and implement appropriate policies, strategies and processes to meet the special education and training needs of learners.
-Ensure compliance with health, safety and security requirements.
