My client who is a leading Law firm with offices based in a number of key locations in York and surrounding areas they seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor with 2 years PQE to join their professional and dynamic team in their York City Centre Office.

The company you will be working for is a reputable, professional and forward thinking business where the customer is at the heart of everything they do.

The ideal person for this position will have experience running a Commercial Property caseload. Acquisitions, and developments will also make up this highly profitable caseload.

You will need to have excellent communication skills as obtaining referrals and business development will feature heavily within this position. You will undertake fee-earning to a high standard of accuracy and efficiency under the supervision of the Head of Department and the Directors, to assist in the development of the firm in line with the contents of the business and departmental plans and process instructions in accordance with established procedure of both good practice and the firm's quality system. To help assist in marketing activities and maintain professional relationships with contacts, colleagues and referrers. To be a team player and undertake duties which may be required of you in order to assist with the efficient running of your department and the firm.

MAIN DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS
Professional
• Providing quotations to potential clients.
• Advising clients with regards to the Commercial Property transaction.
• Raising appropriate enquiries and considering documentation.
• Drafting correspondence and documentation.
• Dealing with agents, solicitors, clients and other individuals in the transaction in an appropriate manner.
• Ensuring the transaction runs as smoothly and quickly as appropriate for the situation.

Marketing and Business Development
• To maintain relationships with referrers.
• To ensure clients have the best experience who will then make recommendations for family and friends.
• Attend networking events to build client and contact relations.
• Contribute to the marketing departments request for marketing ideas.

Management
• Managing and supervising assistant, secretary and junior colleagues.
• Participating in Commercial team meetings.
• Monitoring targets on a regular basis.
