HR Controls Analyst

This is an ideal opportunity for an HR professional looking to work in a critical role ensuring that the team, department and wider organisation adheres to key HR controls, quality and compliance checks.

Reporting directly to the Head of Department and indirectly to the Operational Risk Department, the role assesses and manages HR's operational risk in accordance our Group's model. The role will also encompass some administration of employee benefits for which the reporting line will be direct to HR.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and assess risks in line with our clients Personal Finance Group policy
* Conduct monthly checks and controls of all generic and local HR controls
* Manage and administer the annual renewal of HR policies, processes and job descriptions
* Validate invoices for employee benefits that sit with external benefits partners
* Conduct level 1 checks for PAYE tax controls, on a quarterly, bi-annual or annual basis (depending on the control)
* Complete quarterly holiday pay enhancement processes for corporate employees
* Coordinate monthly operations bonus payments and liaise with Group payroll for processing

What we are looking for

To be successful in this position we are looking for;

Commercial Experience

Experience of drafting and implementing HR process maps, policies and procedures

A successful track record of delivering controls, policy reviews, audits and implementing process improvements

Commercial experience within a corporate HR or Financial Services function

Experience of managing company benefits products and services within a corporate environment, including company car, bonus payments and the flexible benefits platform

Exposure to or an understanding of Operational Risk

A basic knowledge of working within a regulated environment would be advantageous

Personal Attributes

Ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail in all areas is essential

Proven experience of working effectively with stakeholders at all levels of seniority

Sound organisational and presentation skills

Ability to analyse and to write clear summary reports
