I am currently recruiting for a Deputy Team Leader to join my client, an established company based in Manchester. They are one of the fastest growing companies in the Northwest and they are looking to strengthen their team due to increased success and growing business. As a Deputy Team Leader you will be the key point of contact for loan applications including the management of large volumes of applications and to review legal documentation.

- Managing a pipeline of enquiries and applications.
- Ensuring tight SLA's for stakeholders and customer contact & satisfaction are achieved.
- Communicate with customers via emails and over the phone to manage the application process timescale expectations; ensuring applicants have all the information delivered in a clear and concise way to progress their application.
- Meet stretching, but achievable targets to convert applications to drawdown in the shortest possible timeframe, this is a key contract measurement.
- Acting as the first line of defence against Fraud and Money Laundering
- Work with the line manager to provide training and drive team performance including upskilling of the team
- Manage both internal & external performance targets to ensure customer information integrity is in line with the minimum standards
- Deputise for the team leader where necessary, which will involve managing a team of credit administrators.
- Manage and investigate complaints from customers
- Working with the team leader to continuously improve processes and systems within the team.
- Develop & maintain positive relationships with contractual partners.


- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Good IT skills including Excel spreadsheets.
- Previous leadership or deputy team leader experience preferable.
- Confident telephone manner and an ability to explain clearly & concisely requirements to loan applicants
- Working knowledge of the FCA & CCA regulations
