Our client is a leading distributor of performance raw materials which are supplied to various industries within the UK and Ireland. They have an opportunity for a Technical Sales Manager for the Coatings / Inks / Adhesives markets in the UK.

This wide ranging role will encompass managing existing business, developing new business and increasing sales revenue. Other responsibilities will include managing major key accounts, improving the awareness of the client and its portfolio of products; Build and maintain relationship with principals; Attend exhibitions and seminars and keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity.

Skills required for this role are a solid technical background and self-motivation. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential as there is a lot of face to face selling to customers who can be Lab Managers, Technical Directors or Purchasing Managers. Sales training can easily be provided if the technical background is sound (i.e. someone who has worked in a lab but is now looking to move into sales).

Location is flexible this role can be based from home or at our clients office. Ideal locations include North Midlands and North West England.

Attractive Package is dependent on experience and skills, and will include basic salary, Company Car and Bonus Scheme (after qualifying)
