The site provides intensive assessment and rehabilitation across three units assisting with a spectrum of neurological conditions and neuro-behavioural rehabiliation including acquired brain injury, spinal injury and stroke rehabilitation; the service offers long term support for progressive neurological conditions also such as Huntington's disease, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease and Parkinson's disease.

Your role as Staff Nurse would be to provide clinical expertise and aid in the rehabilitation of candidates who has spent periods of time in acute settings, you will work with well-trained neurological experts; aiding those with long term specialist nursing needs or short term needs as the service has a new neuro-behavioral rehabilitation centre for short stays, an industry leading spinal unit and a community integration unit.

You will provide neurological assessment services or treatment of patients with spinal injury and provide long term on-going care planning and clinical excellence; many patients will be rehabilitated so providing a step by step rehabilitation plan/peg and ventilation care is much of the role.

The service has recently expanded and has 3 nursing vacancies in total, then making them full to capacity, you will be assisted by an array of senior nurses, a unit manager, a clinical manager and a hospital director alongside highly trained rehabilitation assistants.

An experienced Staff Nurse in this post will be immediately endorsed and placed onto a training qualification scheme in which they can induct and lead a junior staff nurse team with options to obtain university accredited management qualifications for progression in the long term.

Benefits for the role include:

"Competitive salary, reflective of your skills and experience

"Pension scheme - Employer Contributed

We are considering newly qualified RGN's and experienced RGN's for the role and will offer training in the following:

"Diabetes management
"Epilepsy management
