Sales Ledger Supervisor

Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Supervisor to work within a Client Services company based in Hull. The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role and have strong Sales Ledger knowledge and experience.

The duties of the role include:
• Producing and approving weekly work planning for sales ledger team
• Ensuring daily/weekly/monthly billings are reconciled against various documentations
• Ensuring all payments are made and invoices are raised to clients based on the billing schedule
• Investigating any discrepancies as a result of various reconciliation processes
• Escalating issues to other department or Head of finance when required
• Monitoring debtors closely
• Sending reminders to clients
• Chasing payments for any potential delayed payments
• Circulating aged debtor reports and escalate to Key Account Directors for any potential issues
• Providing effective communication with the team
• Ensuring each individual is motivated, understands their roles and has clear targets
• Ensuring all enquiries from clients or other departments are dealt with in a timely manner
• Attending internal & external meetings as required
• Supporting any decision making required that relates to client billing
• Assisting with auditing clients
• Being responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Sales Ledger team
• Setting up the objectives for each individual in the team and manage their progress and performance accordingly
• Recruiting, training, supervising, motivating and evaluating all direct reports

The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience of sales ledger processing
• AAT qualifications or equivalent- essential
• Experience in Sun accounting system- preferable
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
• Strong data analysis and problem solving skills
• Experience managing a team
• The ability to motivate people and manage performance
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer focus

Job Type: Permanent
Salary: GBP26,000 PA
Hours of Work: Full Time
