Linked Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Verwood based company for a Financial Planning and Analysis - Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)

As an FP&A your role will be to provide financial and operational analysis, data interpretation, planning and business reporting to managers of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

Preparation of regular reports and analysis (e.g. Monthly Operating Review, Corporate Board meetings, Business Planning, Monthly Forecasts etc
Ad hoc reports
Analysis and interpretation of data
Sole responsibility for preparation of forecasts and month end analysis of HR and overseeing sales and marketing costs
Liaising with HR to understand any anomalies found in actual spending vs budget/forecasts and ensuring these are treated as they should be
Providing ad hoc support to HR COEs
Sole responsibility of updating personnel salaries recharged to other countries/divisions within Europe
Monthly meetings with HR management to review / reconcile actual costs, open vacancies and HR costs
Reporting to management to assist with bonus calculations for European personnel
Headcount specific international reporting for the US
Preparation and continuous management of the restructuring file to assist HR in monitoring forecast vs actual restructuring costs
Preparation of a range of presentations
Support of other members of the FPA team (multi skills but specialise in particular area)
Opportunity Identification

Liaison with country partners and shared services finance teams
Requirements

Degree Educated
Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
Broad financial experience (Accountancy qualification)
Highly systems literate. Knowledge of Hyperion is advantageous but not essential.
Working in a paced, detail orientated environment.
Knowledge of key components of commercial and operational activities in a service industry
Excel skills to the max (speed, accuracy and innovation)
Adaptability to ambiguous tasks and challenges
Communicates effectively in all media.
Flexibility and ability to work to deadlines.
Good attention to detail.
Good team player.
