We are a forward thinking school who are currently undergoing a transitional phase due to the appointment of a new Head last year. The school has new priorities and a new vision and wish to utilise that momentum in order to bring about positive change.

The school has recently received a substantial investment as a result of having joined a small Trust which will allow the school to reach its full potential, therefore the school will be able to support the progression of more Newly Qualified Teachers and enhance the learning experience of the pupils.

The school require an strong and engaging Science Teacher looking for a challenge, to assist a progressive school in taking the next step forward. An experienced Science Teacher who specialises in any discipline would be desirable, although it could also be an ideal opportunity for an NQT as the additional investment the school are due to receive will enable them to assist in furthering your career through continuous professional development. This is further supported by the established staff who are able to offer pearls of wisdom to ensure that the successful applicant can develop their teaching style to work effectively in the school environment.

The successful applicant will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status by the date you are due to start
* Full knowledge of National Curriculum in their specialist subject as well as other science subjects
* Knowledge of recent curriculum developments
* NQTs are most welcome to apply
