My Insurance client is looking to recruit an experienced Insurance Advisor to join their expanding team!

Hours are 8:45 - 17:00 Monday to Friday

As an Insurance Advisor your key responsibilities are:

* Retaining and Servicing existing customers.
* Handling day to day enquiries.
* Developing and growing the business through up and cross selling products.
* Take responsibility over underwriting decisions.
* New business, mid term adjustments and renewals.

You will also be required to:

* Support the Assistant Manager in reaching team KPI's
* Reach personal KPI's.
* Handle all calls to meet the clients needs.
* Develop new business opportunities.
* Accurately meet the clients requirements and meet their expectations.
* Liaise with insurers and clients via phone, letter and email.
* Understand the markets to ascertain risk.

You will need:

* Previous experience within a Personal Lines Insurance role.
* Previous experience in Motor and/or Home insurance.
* Strong Negotiation and Communication skills.
* Good insurance product knowledge (training provided).
* Organisational skills and a good attention to detail.
* Be a self starter and able to work proactively and independently.

Cert CII Qualification is desirable but not essential as training towards the qualification within 12 months is expected.
