Person Specification - Assistant Headteacher
This role requires a versatile senior teacher or an existing resourceful Assistant Headteacher seeking a new challenge. We are looking for someone who is an outstanding role model in terms of teaching and learning and who is passionate about enabling children to achieve their fullest potential. As an Assistant Headteacher you must have an organised, flexible yet creative approach. The governors want to recruit a senior leader who not only has an inspirational character and impeccable classroom practice, but can also maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and governors.

About the Role - Assistant Headteacher
As an Assistant Headteacher you will be playing a crucial part in the future success of the whole school and curriculum development. The schools curriculum has been developed with the pupils at the centre, so you must be able to make learning creative, engaging and challenging. Part of your role will include supporting your mentees by encouraging them to achieve their goals and targets. Along with the school's finance team you will be tasked with managing the schools budget in addition to day-to-day, lesson observations, ensuring all staff are well supported and given constructive feedback in order to maintain best practice.
