The company

This is an exciting and expanding company who are at the forefront of reinventing vital services for underdeveloped countries around the world.

The role

Your responsibilities will be the preparation of budget and follow-up of P&L / cash situation of operational projects and projects under construction, preparation of development budget in connection with business developers and follow-up plus set-up and control of multi-currency centralised payment systems. You will have cost control, internal control and overall responsibility of managing costs whilst preparing Monthly Management Accounts, reporting and Cashflow projections, Actuals vs budget analysis and reporting. You will also provide analysis of investment proposals including valuation matrix and sensitivity analysis and be the main contact for the accounting team, business developers and foreign finance teams for any financial & banking topic, on assigned geographical areas.

Your experience

You will have 2-4 years' experience as a controller or internal/external auditor, strong corporate finance/accounting/tax and consolidation (IFRS) knowledge, financial modelling and analysis (Excel Macro skills essential) and advanced accounting knowledge and skills with advanced analytical ability. This will also include interrogating Forecasts and Budgets and ideally experience in emerging markets and Project Finance. You should be a qualified accountant with excellent inter-personal skills. ACA, CIMA or ACCA and experience with Sage and SAP would be desirable.
