Opportunities across Merseyside

Learndirect is the UK's largest provider of skills, training and employment services. We've helped over 4 million people gain the skills they need for work, whether qualifications in everyday subjects like mathematics, English and IT, vocational qualifications and apprenticeships, or higher-level professional qualifications. We're one of the leading employment services providers, changing the lives of job seekers across the country by helping them get into work. We've won a series of new contracts which are about up skilling and supporting people in work, as employed learners.

What will the role involve?

This recruitment will therefore deliver our recently won Skills Support for the Workforce contract, which will help develop different organisations' employed workforces. You will manage your caseload of employed learners during their learning, ensuring they receive appropriate guidance, support and one to one delivery.

The roles work closely with employers who can take advantage of the training available to up skill their workforce, helping their employees develop and progress their career goals.

Some of the main accountabilities will include:

•Successful performance and retention of all learners within allocated groups
•Achieve agreed high learner satisfaction targets
•Ensure the audit compliance process is consistently adhered to
•Ensuring learner progression is recorded to agreed levels
•To travel and deliver across employer locations / learndirect Centres
•To be highly organised to ensure all audit documents are completed in a timely fashion
•To be able to adjust plans to fit daily demands and changes that will occur
•To be able to make daily decisions around delivery and any flexible arrangements that need to be made with the learners
•Fully comply with all aspects of the Prevent Duty and promote British values in all that we do.

What skills, experience, and qualifications are we looking for?

•Experience and relevant qualifications gained from the sector you will deliver (hospitality, IT, customer service, etc.) Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in the specialist area(s) they deliver
•A PTLLS or equivalent teaching qualification and an assessor award - TAQA or A1
•Maths and English qualifications at Level 2 or above
•If a maths and English specialist you must hold minimum Level 3 qualification or above in these subjects
•IT competent, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
•An understanding of the current education and adult training market
•Have access to your own vehicle and willing to travel for the role.
