An outstanding secondary school in Wandsworth, are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher with Pastoral Responsibility from September 2017.

The school would like to appoint a Maths Teacher with Pastoral Responsibility to support the already outstanding leadership within the department. The Maths department is in its second year since reorganisation and was successfully graded as outstanding by OFSTED last year. They have 9 Maths Teachers within the department, including a Maths support teacher, that all have adopted a more efficient and creative way to teach this core subject.

The school are looking for an outstanding Maths Teacher to compliment the learning structure already in place. They are also hoping that the new Maths Teacher with Pastoral Responsibility can also help to provide support to pupils either as a Head of Year or Key Stage.

The school is outstanding and still maintained successfully by the local authority. It has enjoyed a reputation for academic excellence for many years and has successfully modernised the school in the face of recent changes in education.

The school boast a successful exam rate of 78% A*-C in GCSEs last year with Maths achieving 94% A*-C in the 20146 examinations. The school also boast success in A-level Maths with 5 A grades being achieved last year alone. All pupils in the sixth form are encouraged into further education with 3 going onto study Further Maths and Applied Maths last year in some of the countries top institutions.
