Conveyancing Solicitor
GBP35,000 plus bonus
Stockport

Our client is an expanding law firm based in the Stockport area which specialises in residential and commercial property and litigation. Due to continued expansion, they have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced conveyancing solicitor to join the firm in a full-time permanent role.

The purpose of the role is to manage a portfolio of residential properties and new build transactions, with full responsibility for all aspects of the conveyancing transaction. Key duties will include:
• Managing a case load of new build transactions from inception to completion
• Dealing effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence and occasionally face to face, in order to provide advice and assistance
• Communicating with clients and third parties on all elements of the conveyancing transaction
• Maintaining the case management system and any third party web sites up to date in real time
• Ensuring clients and introducers of business receive the best possible service at times
• Preparing required documentation as required with the conveyancing process
• Supervising the preparation of the completion packs for the accounts department, to include completion statements and invoices
• Undertaking completions on the day of completion

To be considered for this opportunity, suitable candidates will need to demonstrate:
• Ideally 3-5 years' experience running own New Build case load
• Excellent attention to detail and solid organisational and administrative skills
• First class communicator and relationship builder
• Conversant in Microsoft office
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Experience of using a case management system (Intelliworks)
