An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Additional Learning Support area for a Programme Coordinator.

As a Programme Coordinator you will be responsible for leading on the SEND reforms with cross-college learners. You will be expected to chair Annual Review meetings, manage and delegate Educational, Health and Care plan reviews, assist in timetabling and conducting appraisals. You will assist with the induction, mentoring, development and support of new staff.

You will also be responsible for managing the support for a specific school within the College, ensuring that the needs of learners are met and that support adheres to the SEND Code of Practice.

Managing a strong, dynamic team where everyone is expected to maintain their current high levels of performance will also be required. You will be expected to coordinate Open Days and internal events with staff as well as communicate with external agencies.

You will be the first point of contact for colleagues and external agencies, so good communication skills and a commitment to the College's standards and values are essential. You will be expected to support the Head of SEND when needed. We are looking for a proactive and positive individual capable of working with staff across the College on a day to day basis. This will include the management of formal surveys and lesson observations.

This is a senior role so the successful candidate must be confident that they can contribute to and improve our team.

The closing date for applications is Thursday 27 April 2017.

The successful candidate will join the ALS department, reporting to Vikram Hansrani
