Commercial Team Leader/Manager Mitcham GBP35k-GBP45k Negotiable Subject to Experience

An established, reputable and forward thinking regional Insurance Broker has an exciting opening for a Commercial Insurance Team Manager.

The ideal candidates will have proven Commercial Insurance experience dealing with a broad mix of SME clients and have strong technical Commercial Risks knowledge.

Reporting to the Director and working to agreed business targets, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of the Commercial Team and ensuring that business plans are achieved, whilst maintaining excellent service standards to existing clients and leading and driving growth through new business acquisition.

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated candidate with proven management experience within the Commercial Insurance sector, who as aspirations to advance their own career and earning through developing and building on eth success already achieved within the firm. You must also be able to demonstrate a solid background in developing staff and mentoring junior members and commercial experienced new starters within a team.

Insurance Industry Qualifications (Cert CII, Diploma or ACII) would be a distinct advantage.

Required Experience and Skills:
• Highly motivated and inspirational man/team manager
• Excellent track record managing and developing successful teams with a Commercial Insurance firm
• Good technical Commercial Insurance and SME/Corporate experience
• Insurance Qualifications (Cert CII, Diploma or ACII)
• Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
• Commercially astute and excellent relationship developer
• Proven sales and new business leader able to demonstrate history of exceeding business budget targets
• Excellent IT skills with advanced knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
