Hospital Workflow Consultant - UK wide - GBP60,000 - GBP100,000 + Excellent Benefits (Company Bonus, Performance Bonus, 28 days annual leave, All Travel Expenses Covered, Private Healthcare, Dental Plan and Eyecare Plan.)

If so this Hospital Workflow Consultant opportunity might be just what you are looking for.

If appointed, you will be working with clients to analyse their needs, identify workflows, and configure solutions to meet their specific needs and requirements. You will be comfortable being a catalyst for process improvement and change, and who will become an expert advisor on best practices in patient flow.

• Experience using hospital software systems
• 2+ years of client facing experience
• 2+ years of consulting experience
• Strong understanding of how hospitals operate, how departments interact and how patient transport operations work
• Basic understanding of the Health Level Seven (HL7) framework and standard
• Experience with standard project management tools (i.e., MS Project, OpenWorkbench), diagramming solutions (i.e., Visio)
• Excellent facilitation skills, including the ability to lead, manage and direct cross-functional teams
• Experience with online communication and collaboration tools

• Ability to establish and manage client relationships, to resolve conflict to achieve win-win solutions
• Ability to work successfully in team environment
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Ability to travel for onsite solution design sessions, consulting visits and problem resolution as needed

Qualifications: Education: BS/BA/equivalent in information systems or healthcare fields

Client Relationship Development:
• Establish a strong executive presence and build relationships across organizational functions that include IT, clinical, ancillary, environmental, and transport departments.
• Conduct presentations and discussion panels with the established governance committee, sub-committees, and decision makers.
• Lead organizational change management and user adoption conversations with client sponsors and stakeholders, implementing strategies to execute on the plan.
• Sustain communication with project team
• Provide assistance to Pre-Sales technical support as needed

Driving for Outcomes:
• Analysis, understanding, and recognition of process improvement opportunities to eliminate waste and create capacity.
• Prepare recommendations based on best practices to hospital administrators at all levels.
• Lead discussions and execution of advanced hospital operation workflows, based on client maturity.
• Provide guidance to assist hospitals in planning for future operational improvements.
• Document current and future state operations workflows in the "Design Document"

Change Management:
• Drive continuous improvement and demonstrate initiative in assessing opportunities to advance client outcomes.
• Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
• Engage senior leaders to support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
• Ensure the operational needs of the customer and TeleTracking are balanced.

Time Management:
• Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple client and conflicting priority projects at one time.

Technical Design and Configuration:
• Responsible for the creation, completion and distribution of multiple client facing documents (Client Agendas, Solution Design Document, Validation Checklists, and Quick Reference Guides).

MS Visio to map detailed client workflows

• MS Access based applications to accurately manage and configure large amounts of client data.
• Obtain full understanding of all application functionality and configuration options to allow for support of client workflows.

• MS Excel based applications to interpret and analyze client reporting data.
• Build analytical client scorecards to effectively develop future state process improvement recommendations.
• Ad hoc reporting as needed.

This role will require regular travelling throughout the UK.
