Robert Half is working exclusively with a growing international engineering business based in Central Surrey to recruit a new Project Finance Manager.

This position is reporting directly into the Group CFO and is being recruited due to the unprecedented growth that this business has witnessed over the last two years.

The Group Finance Director has a great reputation and is really looking for someone who is keen to progress into a Financial Controller and then Finance Director position within the next five years.

The Role
The successful Project Finance Manager will be tasked with producing timely, accurate management information for the consolidated International business, lead group consolidated budgets, forecasts and business plans.

This role will also be heavily involved in supporting and leading commercial support around large scale international engineering and construction projects.

This is a highly visible and senior role that is offering exciting progression and exposure. This role will involve international accounting, systems work around Sun, project accounting and commercial accounting. Exposure to fx and cash flow management would be useful.

To be considered you must be a qualified accountant and have had experience of leading accounting projects in excess of GBP50million.

Main Responsibilities include:

Project Accounting and Management Reporting
Produce the monthly consolidated Management Information Pack.

Review and analyse all inputs to the board reporting pack, including all commercial projects and overseas territories.

Consolidate the annual budget, including long-term cash flow planning, for all rolling business plan/forecast and global projects.

Year End
Assist with preparation of year end accounts, liaising with auditors as required.

Prepare reconciliation of Group statutory accounts with Group management accounts.

Complete the MI Pack within 14 days of month-end.

Produce consolidated budget and forecasts in line with timetable agreed with the Finance Director.

Your Profile
The successful Project Finance Manager will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA) and will have previous experience of dealing across an international spectrum. Exposure to managing complicated projects, sun system and group consolidations is also essential. This is very much a senior appointment so the ability to drive change and influence is critical. Sector wise exposure to either construction or engineering is critical.
