The Company
Robert Half have partnered up with an exclusive client to recruit for a Finance Manager for a Facilities Management business, based in Coventry.

As Finance Manager, this position will be responsible for assisting the Finance Director with the production, delivery and development of management and financial information. This role will also play a key part in the day-to-day running of the finance team.

The Role
It is very much a hands-on role, with an element of continuous reporting, which will involve:
  • Developing strong Business Partnering relationships with senior operational decision makers, in order to analyse, interpret and ultimately improve KPI levels
  • The preparation, review and consolidation of Profit and Loss accounts, as well as the production of analytical reports detailing individual site perform site and regional performance
  • Carrying out financial audits and working in conjunction with the Financial Director to standardise, review and develop network financial/operational processes
The Person
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and commercially astute accountant (ACA/ACCCA/CIMA), with a minimum of 1 year post qualification experience. The successful candidate should have a pro-active attitude to work, must be happy to get stuck in, but also have a solid grasp of Management Accounting principles and practices. Desired traits include:
  • Proven experience of operating as a business partner or equivalent level role, coupled with the know-how and confidence to present clear and simple results in a cost focused setting
  • Strong planning and forecasting abilities, backed by a genuine desire to get to know the business and really understand the activities and underlying cost drivers behind it
  • Advanced Excel and first rate communication skills, plus a good knowledge of reporting tools, as well as evidence of involvement in the successful delivery of project based activities

Salary & Benefits:
Salary is GBP40,000 - GBP45,000. 28 days holiday plus bank holiday. State pension and on-site parking.
