Person Specification - Humanities Teacher

To be successful in your Humanities Teacher application, you must be a skilled and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher who is able to adapt quickly to the school's creative and innovative philosophy. You will possess the awareness and insight to teach effectively and professionally in new and differing situations. You must possess a structured approach to revision that has a proven record of helping students exceed their expectations in terms of attainment. The Humanities Teacher post is open to those Teachers with Geography, History or RS specialisms and Teachers who are NQTs.

About the Humanities Teacher role

In this Humanities Teacher position, you will be joining the school as part of the creative Humanities faculty. As a Humanities Teacher, you will be joining the popular Humanities Department which is viewed highly amongst pupils due to the unique and innovative approach it takes it teaching. You will be preparing your GCSE pupils for these significant exams by delivering the required curriculum to a very high standard. In general, you will be joining a close-knit team of Humanities Teachers who work hard for each other and provide a positive support network.
