My client, who specialise in providing supported living services and accommodation to vulnerable young people aged between 16 - 25 years, are looking for a Project Manager to join them on Full Time, Permanent basis working Monday - Friday 40 hours per week, paying between GBP22,000 and GBP25,000 per year.

You will initially be based in Coventry (CV1 area) but as the Birmingham location develops, you will take on the rest of their West Midlands services. The role will involve travel between the two.

The position is a predominantly office based role.

The purpose of your role will be to lead a team of Support Workers and Key Workers in ensuring that all Service Users are safeguarded at all times and that the relevant action is taken immediately should any concerns arise.

The responsibilities of the role will include:
-Monitoring the performance and paperwork of the support and key workers
- Ensuring that a highly effective support service is delivered at all times
- Monitoring service users' support plans and ensuring that they are designed and implemented in a way which ensures the young people retain maximum control over their daily lives
- Ensuring that all service users are appropriately supported
- Ensuring that the service complies with all relevant policies and procedures
- Creating and ensuring completion of all key documents in each service user's file
- Acting as a key point of contact for service users, professionals and carers
- Promoting, acknowledging and respecting the privacy, dignity, diversity, rights and responsibilities of service users
- Providing 'on call' assistance as required to ensure service users and staff are safe
- Inducting and training new team members and ensuring they're aware of current legal, professional and administrative practices and procedures
- Conducting regular supervisions to monitor performance and behaviours
- Guiding and supporting staff, and assisting with their professional development

To be successful, you must:
- Have NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent OR a minimum of three years' experience working with Young People
- Have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a managerial role within care
- Have experience of working with relevant Multi Agencies
- Have experience of, and be able to, represent the organisation in meetings (ie LAC Reviews)
- Have experience of managing staff including monthly supervisions
- Be a driver with access to your own vehicle
- Be flexible to work additional hours as required

You will need to be flexible to work altered hours in the case of an emergency or to suit the needs of the service.
