The Role for a Registered Nurse:
As a registered nurse your main purpose is to promote the health and social wellbeing of service users through the provision of compassionate care and excellent clinical skills. You will also have a responsibility for supervising, motivating and supporting assisting teams. A registered nurse with current registration is essential while further post qualifications are desirable but not essential.

The Tasks for a Registered Nurse:

• Preparing and maintaining patient records and producing care plans and risk assessments
• Reviewing care plans and monitoring progress
• Ensuring the correct administration of medication, including injections, and monitoring the results of treatment
• Assisting with tests and evaluations
• Responding quickly to emergencies
• Liaising with doctors, social workers and other professionals
• Communicating with and relieving the anxiety of patients and their relatives
• Educating patients about their health
• Organising staff and prioritising busy workloads
• Making ethical decisions related to consent and confidentiality
• Building relationships with patients to encourage trust, while listening to and interpreting their needs and concerns.

The Requirements for a Registered Nurse:
• Active NMC Pin Number
• Indemnity Insurance
• 6 months post graduate experience (preferred)
• Kind and caring nature
• Flexibility towards shifts
• The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Right to live and work in the UK
• Two work related contact details for referees
• Driver is preferred but not essential
