Financial Controller
Our client is seeking a Part Qualified Financial Controller (preferably CIMA) who will be responsible for the efforts and results of the Financial Department. You will report to 2 Managing Directors with regards to all financial and accounting activities and you will oversee the financial department staff in their day to day operations. There are 2 people in this department.

Oversee all company accounts and investments
Create monthly management accounts and reports and annual accounts to identify results, trends and financial forecasts.
Variance analysis of overheads and gross margin analysis.
Management of cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
Supervision and management of small finance team.
Motivate and lead finance team by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback.
Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems including payroll, invoicing and job costing,
Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported.
Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation,
Collaborate with external accountant to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
Report to the Managing Directors with timely and accurate financial information.

Ideally you will be part qualified CIMA with a minimum of 5 years commercial experience.
