Sewell Wallis are currently working with a large and established business in their search for an experienced Cash Management Assistant.

The job;

-Execute payment runs to transmit funds and reconcile to GL, AR and AP ledgers. -Receive incoming payments (e.g. BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, Cheques etc,) and reconcile to GL, AP ledger
-Reconciliation of monthly transactions in conjunction with the GL team
-Control and maintain bank mandates
-Reconcile all bank accounts
-Identify and rectify discrepancies in the banking systems
-Reconcile foreign currency take-ups with Group Finance on a regular basis
-Be responsible for monthly foreign currency revaluation for both sales ledger and purchase ledger

The person;

-A relevant accounting qualification (minimum accounting technician AAT) is required or equivalent accounting experience accepted
-Proven banking experience of at least 3 years
-Good working knowledge of Accounting Software packages
-Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office preferred
-Strong team working and relationship building skills and ability to prioritise own workload is essential
