Credit Control Team Leader ? Bristol

We have an interesting and challenging new position available within our Credit Control department in Bristol. As a Team Leader your role will be to effectively support the Supervisors of both the debt collection and administration teams. You will assist and support all aspects of credit control including legal, cashier, leasing & pre-vetting, new accounts and general day to day duties.

You will also help to coach and mentor a team to ensure they are achieving their targets. Our credit control department is fast paced and busy and this role would suit an individual who will thrive in that environment.

As Credit Control Team Leader your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of Sales Payment Administrators/ Cash Administrators
- Ensuring all day to day aspects of both teams are achieved by deadlines and that targets are achieved
- Supporting the team by helping with the day to day work where required
- Leading, coaching and mentoring the team
- Completing and dissemination of daily/weekly/monthly KPI stats
- Identifying any areas needing improvement and assisting with the implementation of any new processes and or procedures

To apply for this role your experience should include:
- Previous credit control experience from within a high volume environment (up to 2000 accounts)
- The ability to effectively liaise with key accounts and high-ranking customers
- Knowledge and experience in detecting and managing fraud
- Previous team leading or management experience
- Understanding of legal debt recovery processes
- Very good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages
- Achieved/studying for ICM Qualification is preferable
