Software Implementation Consultant (Finance Focussed) - Real Estate Software

We are looking for a new consultant to join our Implementation team, providing training for a comprehensive understanding of the software services and implementation process.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team and gain experience whilst working in a creative environment on interesting projects. Applicants should be educated to an undergraduate level and should ideally have at least two years' experience in a similar IT or real estate focused environment.

The Software Implementation Consultant:

The Software Implementation Consultant will provide project and 2nd/3rd line support to staff and customers for projects and issues (questions, bugs, tasks, change requests) which entail or require an in-depth knowledge of general finance and accounting principles and their application within our system.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

+ Taking the lead role in Client Projects having a substantial 'Financials' element (new or changed features for Financial reporting, transaction management, PnL attribution, etc.)
+ Providing direct assistance to staff and customers for Finance/Accounting related questions
+ Providing training to staff and customers on general Finance and Accounting principles and their application within our system.
+ Driving improvements throughout the system with respect to Financial elements (reporting, transaction management, PnL attribution, etc.)
+ Performing regular site-visits to clients for support and training purposes

Software Implementation Consultant Required Experience:

Essential skills and knowledge:

+ Strong knowledge of Financial Principles, including PnL attribution, Sales and Purchase Ledger, cash reconciliation,
+ Strong Microsoft Office skills - including 'Advanced' level MS-Excel
+ Strong data analysis and reporting skills
+ Analysis of Relational Databases using SQL
+ Strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills
+ A delivery- and results-focused approach
+ The ability to plan and execute projects to meet/exceed customer satisfaction targets, in line with company objectives.
+ Experience of training customers, and mentoring junior/non-finance staff
+ Excellent time-keeping: the role often requires attending or hosting client meetings


+ Demonstrable experience within a similar role within a peer or client organization.
+ Recognised Financial certification, e.g. CIMA, AAT, ACCA
+ Experience with numerical/statistical analysis software packages - e.g. MATLAB, SAS, SPSS

Accountant, Financial Reporting Analyst, Finance Software Consultant, Finance Software Analyst, Technical Financial SaaS Consultant, Finance IT Consultant.
